Has anyone had success joining a company called quixtar?
I have a friend who just joined and she really wants me to get into it, but I am not so sure about it. What is the deal. I would like to know the pros and cons. Thanks.

I'll tell you don't do it because i tried it for about 3 months and you'll quickly realize that these weekly meetings are all talk and no walk. in other words they show you things that cost alot of money and ask you what you would do with millions of dollars but they never show you how to do it. The reason they dont show you is because for you to actually become a quixtar millionare you would actually be paying out alot of money to finance your own business and supply everyone of your customers with there orders. I wouldnt stop you from going, but remember theres no such thing as a free lunch.

Many, many people try Quixtar. Very few succeed.

Quixtar (formerly Amway) is a network marketing company. You buy overpriced products from them and then try to convince everyone you know to do the same thing.

The "dirty little secret" with Quixtar is the training materials (the seminars and DVDs, tapes, etc.) You will be told that they are optional but your upline will highly encourage you to attend. The truth is that the people at the top of the food chain make a vast majority of their money from the training seminars and such. Do a video search for "Quixtar Dateline". Dateline did a news story on them a few years ago.

Here is the biggest con of them all: Once all of your friends and family find out that you are in Quixtar, they will avoid you like the plague.

Quixtar used to be known as Amway. This is an outfit that operates on a pyramid scheme. The idea is to get people to join and use Quixtar products rather than buy name brand stuff at Retail or Grocery stores. You make money by contacting everyone that you know to join under you. They are very good with their pitches and videos. You will eventually be shunned by people who know you. I call this a "cult with a product". How would you return a Quixtar product back? It would take time. How can any company compete with Walmart? I wouldn't waste my time with Quixtar. By-the-way, they change the name of their company because many people knew about Amway.

I watched my neighbor work his ***** off for 9/10 years and recruiting recruiting. He put off buying a house as he was going to be a millionaire. House prices raised 4 times in value and he is still renting the same house. He actually got mad at me because I wouldn't sign up. His wife worked it too and both of them needed other jobs to maintain.
His line was this company pays you to buy things you need anyway. Well that like always flying the same airline for miles when its cheaper to shop the best deals.
My say.
I wouldn't do it.
I was involved in Amway and that's what this is. The original products are great but no one wants to buy them. You would make more money dumpster diving and selling at swap meets or flea markets and then you friends would not avoid you....because they will.
Good luck!!!!
