Has anyone out there ever heard of the company Primerica?
If someone has can you tell me of your experience with them bad or good, because I'm interested in becoming part of their company.
I was a Regional Manager when I left Primerica. I worked there for 10 years. I was tired of cold calling all day for recruits. I had no more family and friends to sell to and my staff began to leave over time. It seemed like commissions began to go down from year to year. It would be nice if commissions were paid on term insurance after the first year. To make good money there you have to recruit and build that team to a very big size. You will eventually make most of your money on the efforts of others if your staff hustles. I learned some good things there, but wish that I would have left a long time ago.

I tried it 10 years ago. It was in Tarreytown NY. It was insurance sales, investments, debt pay-down and other financial services. Dereks friend is correct that it was high pressure to sell and to bring in new recruits. I'm not much of a sales person so it wasn't for me. If you good at sales, don't mind working nights giving sales presentations then give it a try. They are a reputable company part of the CITIGROUP if I"m not mistaken. You can find them through Google on the web.

Yes, I have life insurance through Primerica. They are a Citigroup affiliate.

if you want to be part of the company you need to be driven to sell to anyone. if you are not that sales person who would sell everyone, its a good place to hang out but wont make u any money.

I don't have any first-hand experience, but a friend of mine was a company rep., and he said that in spite of the fact that they SAID they didn't pressure you into performing for them, they really did. Perhaps it's not company policy, but just someone being overzealous.
