I recently canceled a billpay with them, well the person that I spoke with apparantly did not cancel it. So the billpay still went out. SO I check my account this tuesday and my account was $2,000 overdrawn. So I called them and spoke with the billpay department, after being on the phone now for a total of about 6 hours, they refunded the billpay, and half of the overdraft fees. Which by the way the overdraft fees alone totaled $700. I have spoke with every manager you could imagine, and I am still $350 shy of what should have been in my account. When I did finally get half the overdraft fees credited back to my account, I asked why the rest would not be credited the manager told me "maam if you have a problem with what I am doing I suggest you call the president." I have been with Wachovia for years and never had any problems until I started using the billpay. Now I am close to closing my account and switching banks. I loved Wachovia, but this incident has left me VERY disappointed!!!
