I'm 17 and I ordered a snowboard jacket a few months ago for £90. The guy didn't have pay pal, so we had a postal order. The according to the postal order the money still hasn't been delivered and as far as I know the guy has either run away with my money, or the royal mail guy has stolen it. Never again.

In short YES...have been a valued member with 100% feedback for alot of years! I was recently ripped off as was other members by the same buyer and Ebay did not want to know because the item was paid through Paypal!! Paypal gave the money back to the buyer (they also had the expensive item) so I was out of pocket ~ALOT!!! Have since closed Paypal Account which I also had for many years and have not used Ebay since!!!
I would now recommend NOT using either as when things go wrong THEY REALLY DONT WANT TO KNOW AND SEND GENERIC LETTERS!!!!
EDIT: I could prove the item was delivered it was signed for and I had recorded proof (buyer said never received!) but this is STILL not good enough....BE WARNED!!

you can open a Item Not Rec'd with ebay.
if you have paid for a item by paypal you can open a dispute and the seller has to send proof they sent it to you. if they dont they will refund your money.
If you sent a cheque or postal order , then check and see if they have been cashed then do the same again through ebay,
If you paid via cash.............. then you are up sh!t creek without a paddle unless you sent it signed for,
But if i was you i would open the dispute with ebay / paypal now as you only get so long to do it.

Paypal can be a problem both as a buyer and seller. Many honest businesses on ebay but the rogue traders are there too.

never had any trouble myself - try to always pay with paypal so you can get your money back if something goes wrong.

I don't understand your complaint. I am very much comfortable with ebay. Ebay has proper mechanisms to resolve all complaints.
