I have not seen it . BUT our local wal mart in superior wisc has stop their lay away service which I know lots of folks who used that service so they could have a decent Xmas for there children !!!!!!!!! so that in it self is very upsetting !!! but tell me more about the documentary thanks |

Wal Mart was my first job as I worked through college. I love it! The job was simple even when customers werent. The whole thing about Wa-Mart not treating their employees right is all bull. Employees are given the chance to advance and get paid more and if everyone could be shift supervisors it was all welcomed since that was where they chose to work. But the employees dont want to deal wiht the extra work or the hassle. YOu would have to work there to understand. ALOT of theft by employees, I mean ALOT, too much complaining about wages again...after they turn down advancement, so why dont they use a small job to work towards a better future! Prices are low to the public becasue of the way it is ran and I support it. Its one of the few places where low income people can still shop without having to spend their entire allowances...and the main idea of Wal-mart keeps it that way. |

Yes, I know what your saying and I agree. We have no other place really to shop at in our little town. So I can't complain to much. I'd just put up with it but their employees just to seem to be getting meaner. |

yes...it was on HBO...and I only shop at a Wal-Mart store if the town has no Target...I can not stand Wal-Mart, stores are dirty, workers are rude, and the product is cheap |

I did. I was shocked. I knew they treated the people that worked there poorly. Still I thought that was an issue for those that chose to work there. I had NO IDEA the impact they were having on our environment,draining our taxes,killing small towns economies, the sweat factories in third world nations etc. I was so horrified by the film I will NEVER shop there again. Not if they were selling cars for a nickel. I urge everyone to watch the film and make up their own minds. |
