Don't reply! It's smart of you to be suspicious of this kind of email. To put it simply, if you didn't specifically enter a sweepstakes, you couldn't have won it. Imagine someone calling you on the phone to tell you that you've won the lottery when you know you didn't buy a ticket. Now imagine that person telling you to meet them (at a strange place you've never heard of) so you can collect your winnings. Would you go?

If you reply to this email, you will probably at least end up getting more spam than you already do. At worst, you could end up being scammed in a major way. If you were to give them *any* kind of personal information, you might fall victim to identity theft, which could lead to having your bank account cleaned out and your credit accounts maxed out. Yikes!

Honestly, do you really think that's true ?
See, I'm sure you found the answer by yourself.

Cheers

If you received such e-mail thru the junk mail, don't respond, as :-
1. Normally such mails sent to you in order to respond and they will have the chance to know the IP of your computer. Afterwards you might get hacked.
2. I don't think that Microsoft is giving such rewards without previous announcing for a tournament.
3. Previously I have received such e-mail for several times.

Most probably it's a scam. Don't reply to it, never!

Copy paste it with the e-mail address from where it came and send it to Microsoft through an e-mail address taken from their official site.
