I used to love Home Depot. Now I hate what they have become, typical greed driven corporate scum. They just spent over two million dollars of their Stock Holders money trying to force a store into an area that didn’t want it. The worst part is, there are two Home Depot stores just five minutes away from the spot in either direction.
Their whole fight was just to show how big and strong they are, it had nothing to do with Customer Service.
They tried every sleaze trick they could to win the battle, even playing the race card. They actually said that because the residents didn’t think putting a Home Depot adjacent to a school for special needs kids that it was because of racism.
How does that even come into play? How is it racist not to have the school inundated with trucks all day long?
How is it racist to say an area shouldn’t allow a commercial whole sale super store to open right snack up against a school?
So thats is the biggest change. When they first opened they cared about Customer Service and the area they went into. Now, its just about the all mighty green back. |

Much more stuff to choose from,such as lawn/garden,electronics and more,its a much better store than 5 years ago because they have improved on size(store),merch,and prices,i no alot about the store because i stay down the street from it,but overall its a great store to shop at for almost everything |
