GA frustration | How can I contact Sears executives - the top dogs? |
We have always relied on Sears appliances for our home. We recently, however, purchased a new home and also purchased all Sears appliances. We've had nothing but problems with one of the appliances and have met up with the most unhelpful and rude retail people in our lives. The company policies we've heard about are unreal! They refuse to replace a $200. machine but had the service person order over $1000. worth of parts for it???? I'd like to be able to report this to the senior executives just to see if this is actually 'company policy' or if they have a very uninformed store manager out in their network. |

My experience is that you trying to contact corporate executives is a poor choice. They cannot personally deal with hundreds of operational details. At best your request will get passed on to someone who deals in appliance service. You are much more likely to get some help by speaking to the manager of the Sear retail store where you shop. |

If your calling the store stop that will not solve your trouble. You need to call 1800 469-4663.
I use to work for sears. Their policy is if they can't repair it they will replace it. Keep up you MA or PA policy. Talk to a service manager. Be persistent do not lose your cool. Let them know that you may never shop at sears again!
Keep the service tech coming out if he gets tired of coming out he may just tell them he can't fix it then they will bring out a new one. As long as you have service policy they have to keep coming out.

Why don't you do yourself a favor and buy another $200 machine at another retailer and forget about it?
It's already costly enough for all the users at Yahoo! Answers to waste our time with your question but to waste the time of a CEO over $200 is just insane!
I will help you for FREE with some stock tips (I am a Portfolio Manager) until you make $400 in profits so you can buy a new machine and forget about the whole thing.

On January 3, 2011, a sears repair person ordered 3 parts for our built in double oven. As of today (2-16-2011)m the ovens are still not repaired, for various reason parts on back order, part recevived at Sears Retail Store and misplaced and to be reordered again on back order now until 3-4-2011.
This will be the last time that I will relay on Sears repair and most likely will never purchase anything else from sears. I am also sharing my experences with others. |

I've had a dishwasher part on order for two months now. The first month I kept getting emails that it was on backorder. I talked to customer service a month ago and then got an email saying the part was shipped. Haven't seen it yet. Yet, on that same day a month ago I ordered parts for our refrigerator: those came within a week. Now I've sent customer service an email. There is something dreadfully wrong with their parts ordering system. I've asked them to ship the part 2 months overdue with tracking. Next stop is the State Attorney General's office. |

Frank Castle, it is the principle behind the $200 dollars, not to mention the aggravation. I found this thread looking for the address to send a letter to the CEO of Sears. We ordered a building (on-line) and my husband did not click a button to receive the free floor. In order to get the free floor, we had to order another building and pay for another building. After trying to get a resolution with customer service via the phone (India), we cancelled the second order that had the free floor. We did not need another building. We just needed the free floor that was supposed to come with the first order. I contacted our local Sears. I spoke to the Manager, Claudia. She was so helpful. We have our floor coming, but the local store had to take a loss (somehow). Anyway, I just wanted the CEO to know how the local store helped resolve our problem, when on-line customer service was unwilling to do so.
And, Frank, I guess you are used to swindling people out of money, since you are in the business you are in...you have a funny way of trying to gain clients by calling them "cry babies". Grow up! |
