How can Wal Mart give 100% satisfaction guarantee, when it is not true. would it be 96% satisfaction guarantee
How can you possibly be satisfied with a new game or DVD if you cannot open it? they will not allow returns of opened Games, DVD's. I could understand if you were a repeat offender, but they should let you do one or two.
It should be "96% satisfaction guarantee" Additional Details They say copywrite laws prohibit it, and only exchange for same item.
They do keep return records and usually ask for your drivers Liscence.
I believe the 100% satisfaction guarantee means that Wal-Mart ensures that you are completely satisfied with the service they give you. If the game or DVD won't load because it is defective they would be willing to exchange it out for the same item so you have a working copy. However, Wal-Mart can not return games or movies that you just don't like because it would violate the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. The law is there to prevent people from watching a movie and returning it once they are finished with it to get a refund. If everyone could simply return movies for a refund when they were through with them you could see how the studios that product the movies would loose thousands in revenue. I don't think it's fair to say that Wal-Mart isn't satisfying you by refusing to violate a federal law.

I remember about 13 years ago when I bought Mortal Kombat 2 for my Super Nitendo. I had the game for 3 months playing the hell out of it everyday. I kept the box and all of the orginal packing that came with the game. After I was bored with the game I put it back in the box and returned to customer service. The asked my the reason why I was returning the game and I told them it was a birthday present that I gave my brother that he did not want. They gave me my $70.00 dollars back and I was so happy. I just think that people have abused the return policy on videogames so much that now you can not open it and retun it.

The devil is in the details. Define "satisfaction". I think that's where they get the out.

Marketing hype like that "100% satisfaction guarantee* is more of a goal than a practice.
Walmart probably doesn't have a database of everything return, exchange so they wouldn't know if this was your 1st return or your 100th.

I have taken a game back that I have opened. At first they told me I could only exchange it for the same game...which made no sense (cuz the game did'nt work in my system). They gave me a gift card with the amount I paid for the game on it. They did'nt want to at first but did.
