it just depends on how you like it. Put your coffee in the cup try one spoon of sugar... if its still too bitter add another till you get where you like. i only use non-dairy creamer in my coffee but i cant drink milk. i usually use 1 spoon of French Vanilla Coffee mate. :)

Sounds like you have some instant coffee and that's not going to taste the best unless you do doctor it up a bit. Add the recommended amout of instant cofee and hot water to the cup and stir well. Then, I would add about a table spoon of milk or cream and two teaspoons of sugar or one pack of artificial sweetner. That'll taste pretty good, even for instant. If your goinng to drink coffee though, I would buy a regular drip coffee maker and follow the directions. I feel for ya. Until I've had my coffee I not only look like a zombie, I act like one too!!! peace
