Every single one of us personally decides our own income. Some people choose to earn less then others, and that is their right. You can not force everyone to attend college and have a high work ethic. |

The US needs new tax laws i.e. higher taxes on higher income brackets, revise the tax breaks given to corporations, added taxes on imported products to the U.S., and lower taxes to individuals in the lower income brackets, raise minimum wage proportionately to inflation, make health care free or affordable, and make education more affordable so middle class or lower income families can insure that their children are on a level playing field children from wealthy families. Go back to a Jeffersonian democracy. |

Make it a rule that the president lives in the most economically deprived area/neighborhood and lives on minimum wage.
Include every sector of public servants in congress and the senate getting to live in what they create in their respective areas/jurisdictions.
Than tax people in proportion to what they make! Anyone who believes in trickle down economics, I have stuff I want to sell you!
Then give each person a card each year, with things like medical, schools, social services, military etc give them a hundred points and let then distribute their points in proportions like 20% (20 points) to hunger, 35% to health care, etc |

The problem is that the income gap in some ways represents the intelligence gap. We're all on different levels of smartness. It is more complex than that because intelligence takes on many forms. Some people are smart sales people, some are smart mathematicians, some are excellent at managing. Others aren't so great in any given area, and sadly it often shows in their earning potential.
Therefore to have an equal earning potential everyone would have to be the same. This does not lend itself well to survival of the species.
It is only possible to decrease the income gap "artificially."

Question: If you kick out the illegal immigrants who will hoe the sugar beats, bean fields, and tomatoes? Who will do the lowest jobs in our society that we have all become too proud to do? The last time I checked illegal immigrants weren't the ones with 6 figure incomes.

Maybe the only way for us to eliminate the gap is to follow Jesus fully. Jesus teaches that we should take care of our neighbors. He says to love your neighbor as yourself.
He says, "What good is it if you love only those who love you?" He says that even the heathen love those who love them.
If we had love like that how could we possibly walk down the street and watch our brothers starve? How could we live in a million dollar mansion when the kids down the street don't have enough to eat?
I don't think we should rely on the government. If the government is the force we rely on what happens when it becomes corrupt and spends your money on the already wealthy to gain personal favors for itself? |

Sam's Club 6625 has a female Business Manager that earns over $4000 per month and uses people to help her since she is not that smart and has anger issues. She started there was assigned to Palmdale and returned to San Fernando California.
The main Club Manager does not care about people and he refused to give a girl at the tire shop a 40 cent raise,from Level 3 to Level 5,so she quit in August 2006.
She graduated from San Fernando High in 2003 and now has a job earning $22 doing massages. He male friend,also from the Class of Transcedents,left the tire shop to be a COS then quit in late 2006.
The Main Club Manager(Sam's Club 6625) left around August 2006 for a Utah Sam's Club. He earned a bonus for Sam's Club Manager of the Year in 2006 for Fiscal Year 2005. In 2006 only managers received a bonus while non-managers were told the club did not reach their quota. There were bonus for everyone in 2005 and 2007. Call Sam's Club 6625 and look for the number on the internet.
Part of the reason why rich people become rich is by paying the least amount and if you noticed most laws especially with taxes favor them. |
