I am having a problem with a certain business and I want to contact the owner, but I am getting the run around about who actually owns it. Any hepl will be appreciated!
Start with the City Clerk's office, if it is a local business. Everyone has to file a ficticious business name and list their contact info.
If it is a coroporation, contact the secretary of state's office. In California, go to kepler.ss.ca.gov/list.html

The better business bureau www.bbb.com or try your state's secretary of state. They can normally give you the incorporator's contact info or the statutory agent's contact info. They can get you to the owner. Let me know if you have no luck, I may be able to get you the info you need.
