if they're not public then you'll have to call and ask. If they ARE public then you can go to finance.yahoo.com, enter the stock symbol and look for 'Insider Holdings' or 'Insider Transactions', the big stock holders are typically listed there.

Find out where it's incorporated. Usually Delaware and contact the state business regulations office. If it's privately owned, it's probably harder to get the info.
