You could learn about and utilize the scientific method, and rely on scientific studys, papers, magazines, and scientists themselves for your facts.
Also check www.snopes.com, "Mythbusters" on The Discovery Channel, and to a lesser extent, Penn & Teller's "Bulls**t" series on Showtime. They investigate all sorts of rumors and frauds, mostly using the scientific method. |

Use your common sense or else speak to an authority on the subject.
PS. it's fraudulent not fraud b/c it's an adverb |

You dont. Thats why you have to search everything yourself, and verify what other ppl tell you. The internet isnt a very good source, try a book or newspaper. |

it depends on what you believe it is. |

Impossible.
It is usually safe to assume that someone who approaches you with a business proposition of any kind is actually more interested in gaining something for themselves, rather than helping you out.
It is just sensible to assume this, as it protects you. Generally, go with your gut instinct; you usually have some idea when something is fishy.
Don't risk it, because you will have regrets, and that is not healthy for you. |

I agree. Usually you can tell a person's answer if its legit or not. Also I would recommend doing research on their answers. I don't think anyone should blindly believe any answer without second opinions etc. |

All information is fraud until we live through it, historical, existentially, or experientially. You make it authentic as you validate through your living. |

You have to be informed of the issue, at least read about it, before buying it.
The more information you get, the better. |

depends on from whom you get that information, if it's a company that you never heard off, then you don't know if it's fraud or not, the only way to find out is do research, usually if it sounds too good to be true it's not, but usually people that are doing fraud are not stupid, everything can be made perfect, you would never suspect anything, anything is possible :) If someone tells you that you can make a million by spending $24.99 that most likely would be fraud(scam), use common sense that's all |
