I know we have talked about this before, but it's worth repeating.
Slow or worthless workers, especially fat ones, like this guy is, are easily dealt with, and like another has responded before me, they kind of work themselves out as long as you keep your nose clean. All you have to do is keep looking straight ahead, mind your work, and pick up his slack when it will be seen by his or your supervisor. Your boss will notice who is working and who is not, and when promotions come around next time, (I know you're company isn't currently in a a position to do this), they will remember who was there everyday, who was getting their work done, along with other people's, and they will also remember who was unproductive and who take all those sick days.
He may have a doctor's note for an injury he got, but your company can always let his *** go for being unproductive, and good luck to him proving that he sustained that injury from filing papers, if he is even injured at all.
The point is, you haven't got to strangle this guy to get him out of your hair. Worthless is worthless, and he'll see himself out the door by keeping this bullshit up. He'll strangle himself on a cheeseburger at some point anyways, so keep the blood off your hands. |

I'm 49 and have been working for 27 years, +/-. (My lottery-numbers are bound to hit soon). My tactic was always to just avoid them as much as the work situation permitted. Other than that it was just a matter of endurance. Eventually we'd go our separate ways; one of us would be transferred or they'd quit. I find that if you keep putting one foot in front of the other eventually the problem resolves itself.
How many years has Jim been enduring Michael and Dwight? (Re. _The Office_; a little joke).
The best of luck to you. --Jeff in Houston, Texas |

Believe me I deal with people like this all the time.
You must be someone that has just begun to work, it can get far worse! |

Freeze the body before you put it through the chipper - less mess...hahaha, j/k! If you've got seniority, put him on probation due to unprofessional conduct.
If you're on the same level (professionally, not mentally), there's not much you can do. I'd say ignore him, but that comes more easily to some than others.
If his behavior is affecting your work, then it's probably affecting others. Approach your supervisor en masse with a complaint about reduced productivity and the costs associated.
Good Luck! |

He's just somebody that you have to deal with, and pretend to like them, thats the only way I can deal with people like that. Except actually wringing his neck, which is alot more fun but should only be used as a last resort/ |

Tell him that he should be less vigorous while masturbating. |
