How do you defeat a controlling boss?

When I make a suggestion or ask a question to my boss, I never let on to what I want the answer to be, sometimes I even suggest an answer that I don't want because I know my boss is going to change whatever I suggest. If I word it right, I can get him to suggest what I wanted, and think that it's his idea.

That is his or her turf and there is no defeating them. You have to play their game, however, there are always those two magic words " I Quit" Make sure you have another job first! And if you do move on, when you interview, there's nothing wrong with asking the boss what type of management style they incorporate. One day you will be boss and now you know how NOT to be to YOUR employees or you will see why sometimes you almost NEED to be one.

Suggest a suggestion box. Then suggest via that box that his employees are concerned on his behalf about his micro-managing techniques. He is spending his valuable time on minor things when he should move on and concentrate on the big picture and learn to trust on his employees who he in his wisdom chose to be able to make decisions on their own. If that doesn;t work slash his tires.

Its easy, try to look like what "he" likes, and do what "you" like, just kidding, I think a boss tends to be controlling when he has suspicions that his employees or workers can not get the job done as it should, and so you can not defeat a controlling boss, instead you can make him less controlling and more decentralized, by showing him that you are trust worthy, and a co-operative hard worker.
