Ask them. Studies have shown that people are more engaged and productivity improves when employees feel that their opinions matter. Form a small group of employees to represent the larger group and let them determine what they would like to increase productivity, quality, whatever your goal is. Then let them propose some ideas to management. When they have a say in the process, their motivation and morale will improve. Don't ask strangers how to motivate your employees. Ask your employees. They have the answers. |

Give them bonus's and put luck dinners. You can always do an employee of the month too, that will encourage alot of motivation. Have some free rafel drawings once a month or something. |

I hold contests. I don't have many, but I offer decent prizes like a Digital Camera, a DVR, a 1 yr gym membership, etc. I also have an occasional "BBQ", and a Haloween party every year that is free for my employees and their families. |

1.) "Attaboys" (give them a pat on the back more often).
recongize their hard work and when they have gone above and beyond.
2.) let they be aware (and even sometimes involved) in what is happening with the company. |

well you can just start leaving them alone and let them do their work, when people needs a job they do their best to keep it, that way you'll notice who is efficient and who's not, you need to ask them about their families and stuff like that, you can also talk to them about yourself, people feel good when the boss is worry about their private lives just ask don't interrogate, and you know a picnic or some bar-b-q once in a while is not going to hurt them..... |
