You can pay for the gas after you pump in my town.. but I pay with a debit card. Use card, pump gas, get receipt and leave. No standing in line to pay, no wasting my time going inside and I can pump any amount I wish.

Nowadays, they're pre-pay, or pay with a credit card

Most areas are pay before. There are still a few areas that you pay after but not many.

even if your new to driving id think you knew this but in most places your required to pre-pay i havent seen a place where you pay before in a long time..or you have to use a credit card..
