It also allows them to generate a percentage of their earnings in other currencies, so that they are not 100% vulnerable to fluctuations in the value of the US dollar. This is important for any company that makes a lot of purchases overseas. |

I think it's safe to say that a place like a Wal-Mart checkout counter is where you are going to end up with intelligent questions like that. SO lets hope that they are expanding into the country you are from, unless you are from the home country of Wal-Mart (FYI thats A-M-E-R-I-C-A)

I don't think at this point the rest of the world is ready for wal-mart, and we have so many problems with Family safe products...ect.. angry customers. I am not sure if these internationally places are ready for it, too many reglious I personally think that wthere would be too many attacks on walmart from this places. |

Well creates more stores and therefore more profits. Could be reaching a level of saturation in USA so the best idea is to expand elsewhere, All businesses need to expand,, not stand still,,, OK Walmart( Asda in UK ) have got lots of stores and limited growth expansion potential in those countries so they will need to look elsewhere, Anywhere in the world, |
