To a small extent it does. Some people would rate you down if you're seen with an unattractive woman. It's not what I think but I can't help mentioning that I've heard it. Plus, whether the guys who think less of you also have power to make an impact in your career or not, it's not obvious.
However, this is a minor issue. Most rich guys like to strut around with trophy wives just for vanity, for competitive drive, for the heck of it. If their division posts a huge loss they're just as likely to be fired whether wifey is a former Playmate or not. |

I don't think that looks have anything to do with a mans success in the corporate world, A successful man needs a wife that supports him and helps him stay on track and share the same dreams, ambition and goals as he does and they work together to achieve those goal, having a trophy wife is just that a trophy with no substance or foundation. |

No, its not related. Many successful business men are single, many have unattractive wives, etc. If you plan on networking socially, it would help to have a wife who has some social grace and can hold an intelligent conversation. |

I really don't think there is a need for one at all. Think about it, some of the top 10 billionaires in the world are not married even though they could've, married someone very beautiful, why because there is no use of marriage, one just needs to attain success and wealth that is all that matters. Fame, Fortune, Power, that is all that matters, that is all that counts. |

Yes, it certainly can help. But just important is her education (i.e. Ivy League) verses some state college. If you are looking for justice or fairness in this world; try moving to Mars or some other planet where things are probably the same. REMEMBER the golden rule: He who has the gold makes the rules. |
