I love your question and you are smart.I do not like people who can talk all day and no action.We do spending time talking and talking forever.I blame a type of behavior that love to show off and wasting time for meeting.Then the job runs slow it will not reach the time table and the rest of group has to pay for by working extra time in order to make up.Shame for anyone who has an ego and no team play.I rather get my job done and you know I always deliver on time.By the way,I always finish whenever I start.My heart and soul feel for you and get out and avoid as much as you can such as stomach problem,car broke down and the dog get cancer.These are my tricks not to have a nonsense meeting.

Well there are a few tricks to pull. If you are married or have children make your cell phone ring or buzz and pretend it is something really important that you must leave immediately. If you don't have either fake a seisure. That stop the whole meeting, and if they ask if you had them before just tell them that sometimes lights from projectors contribute to your epileptic seisures. Otherwise you could try fainting or faking it. Then pretend like you have anemia and that you just need to lie down for about 30 minutes in order for your body to recover.

seems like yur doin a pretty good job of escaping already! yur probly stuck withit less you could somehow get somebody to call you and say anything they like and you translate it to asome kind of emergency. good li=uck and no yawning!

Nope, you are pretty much trapped. You can most effectively use this time to estimate how many of these meetings you are likely to have to endure in your lifetime, and come up with a couple of alternative life paths.
