Just how is Target is Walmart's competition? Does anyone know how Target is Walmart's rival?

Both are good to shop

Target and Wal Mart always finding legal ways to get rid of people approaching retirement so they do not have to share future profits and also replace older workers with younger and most important lower pay. They call it a necessity to stay in competition yet the salaries of high level management always goes up annually especially the Board of Directors along with majority stock owners

People from Sam's Club 6625 in San Fernando California and from Wal Mart's Home Office in Bentonville Arkansas have people scouring the internet for negative information about them.

This site http://mariaisabelescobar.vox.com tells what happened to my son and a former Wal Mart "associate"(actually Sam's Club) when he wrote the dirty secrets as to how a company that pledges "Respect for the Associate" does the opposite. Wal Mart has a reputation of not laying off people, but they harass and intimidate people into quiting so they do not retire and can hire people at lower wages.

Target is holding against Wal Mart

Target is Wal-Mart's competition because, although I COULD shop at Wal-Mart, I never do. Target sucks too, but at least they don't blatently support Communism.

They are both "big box" retailers that primarily sell low-price, low-quality goods from China.

I agree with the above poster that they are both large, international, discount retailers. I also agree that walmart does offer lower prices but target has higher quality brands on some things. Also, their store brand items are a nicer quality.

They are both large box stores. They both try to be all things to all people.
But, Target is more upscale in their merchandise, a bit higher priced, nicer wider aisles, and actually make more money per square foot.
But overall Walmart is the largest company on planet earth.
