How is worker productivity calculated?
I like to know how is worker productivity calculated.

Ok, how is or how do they, the Commerce Department, calculate worker productivity for the national report.

Most all manufacturers, retailers, etc. are required by law to fill out and submitt reports to the commerce department on a quarterly basis or even more often. These reports tract productivity, employment, and various other statistics. They are in fact quite accuratee. I use to personally complete these reports for the companies I worked for. I can not at the moment recall the form numbers etc.

It's your judgement. If your workers don't seem to be working well, tell them they need to do better. Whatever does the job done. Also, if they are doing extra, give them a raise.

Apostrotastrophe
That's an impossible question to answer as each company has a different set of values and defines productivity differently.

depends on what type of work. sales, production, medical, food service, etc.
