The term business days is used in refereence to shipping products. It means Monday thru Friday. For example, lets say you order something Monday morning, and the company tells you it takes 6 business days for you to receive your merchandise, then your start counting Tues., Wed., Thurs, Fri., Mon. , and you should be getting it on Tue. of the following week. |

A business day starts at the start of business on any day Monday though Friday. For many corporations this would be 9am. The business day would end at the close of business for that day, which in many cases is 5pm. So if your count started on a Friday morning, by the end of business that day one day would have passed. Saturday and Sunday do not count however, so a second business day would not be added to your total until 5pm that coming Monday. |
