How many hours does an assistant and store manager work at Walgreens?
I am currently work for Hollywood Video as a store manager. Does Walgreens work with school schedules say I go part time in the evenings? I am not sure if I they would bring me in as a store manager or an assistant as well.
In order to be an assistant or store manager at walgreens you have to have a four year degree. it depends on the state how many hours. in california it's 40, in illinois its 44. and it'll be difficult for them to work around u going to school at night cause they all have to work a certain about of nights. and u have to work 10 hour days. at least the walgreens i work for does.

Best is to check with them. Different organizations work differently.

Bringing some one in as a store manager or assistant manager is not always a given. Many companies don't bring anyone "in" as a manager, rather they promote from within. That is because those people are already used to the protocal of the company and have experience with every issue or situation that may arise.
Also, it depends on whether or not the store wants you to work set hours. They may only be hiring for a specific shift. Most companies are hesitant to bring managers in who can only work a few hours in the evening. They normally want people who can be flexible with their schedules and work when most needed; especially if someone calls in sick.
Howdy!
well it aldepends on what the budget can afford. some stores have 3 and some have 4 assistant managers, but its normally around 45 hours a week at the one i work at, (mine has 3) but one of them is an EXA that gets salary no matter how many hours and all. so it all depends. but my store manager works more because he is very very dedicated to his store and doesnt leave until he thinks its ok too.
