Wal-Mart is an economic blackhole, it eventually sucks all the money out of the community and then sends it to China and India and any other place they can find cheap products made by people paid substandard wages. Walmart pays its store employees wages that are so low many need taxpayer-paid foodstamps and free medical care just to survive. Worst of all, Walmart ends up destroying the infrastructure of small businesses in the vicinity of their megastores. Remember many of those small businesses, besides faithfuly serving the needs of the local community, also contributed to the culture and social life of the community. When they are gone, what will repace them?
People who shop at Walmart ignoring these facts, are stupidly destroying their communities just to buy cheap imported goods and save a few dollars. I for one stopped shopping there about 8 years ago and I urge anyone with a love for their community and a desire to support the unique character of that community to shop elsewhere. |

I hate Wal-Mart. It killed the small town I grew up in. It is so far from the vision that Sam Walton had for it. He is rolling over in his grave right now. Down with Wal-Mart!! |

I tried to find a shirt that was made in America at my local Walmart last year, there wasn't a single one. Everything they buy is imported. Shopping at Wal*Mart is un-American.
Shopping at Wal*Mart supports groups like the Taliban.

Walmart around here isn't like that so I shop there still. It has everything you could need but just dont have low prices like they use to! |

i did! Stop walmart! And what's with the old people sitting at the entrance and exit of the store? What a waste that is?? :-) I say eliminate that job and give everyone a slight raise. |

i dont see what the big deal is...those workers can easily get a job in the same industry somewhere else.
walmart gets away with it all because either no one quits, or there is always someone to take their place.
it's not the customers that should stop shopping, it's that people should not apply to work there and the ones that work there should find different jobs. then, maybe walmart would stop doing something about it all. the few people that dont shop there anymore is not hurting walmart in any way.
i still shop there because i get the best deal on just about everything. |

up at our walmart in KY we had a girl in the deli who **** her self and kept working some one told her to change and clean up she took of her under wear and put them in the lockers and went back to work no washing of the hands either and no i wont shop and walmart any more i haven't for a while |

maybe it is just a different wal-mart cause my wal-mart gives out free things, shops with elderly people and helps them out, and just over-all bes nice. by the way i still shop at wal-mart |

I didn't. I don't give a damn what they do to their employees. Their prices are GREAT!! If youre dumb enough to work there then so be it. Either quit or suck it up. |
