You might want to clarify. Do you mean undercover "loss prevention", as in security or do you mean like mystery shoppers that are there to evaluate the customer service, store appearance, etc? |

right now during the holidays prolly 5 or so i knowstores always have at least 1 in there....well normally they are there all day,pushing a cart down isle,there is stuff in the cart,will be a lil nosy kinda like if they were stealing themselves,hope it helps |

Well when I worked for target we had one sometimes two people (2 durning the holidays) but you would never tell who they were they dress like a everyday shoper have a small note pade at times but most the time you would never know they were ever in your store. They would have a cart full of things that they were price checking. Hope this helps
If your taking about undercover people that look for shop lifters depending the season and day time 3 to 6 with one or 2 being in uniform. At our store we even had a prego chick once she was the best! They can be 17 years old to 100 you never know who they have looking out. target is not the store to steal anything from trust me! Target has a low loss rate stay like to Walmart. |

all you have to do is watch for people that pick up stuff and they look like there looking at it but there eyes are wandering, and if u look like ur a shoplifter then watch out for people that u see in more than one asle |

Well it depends, are you talking about a "secret shopper" or an undercover security officer? Secret shoppers can be in any store. They are there to make sure that the store manager and the associates are doing their job correctly. As for the security guards, they are usually dressed in uniform. However, I am sure they can hire undercover if the manager feels the need in their area. Hope that helps. |
