How many years of college does it take to become a store manager? i wanna be a Wal-mart manager.?
A 4 year degree will certainly speed up the process, but they have store managers with a high school education. You may decide to go for an MBA after but it isn't necessary. Of course with as many stores as Wal-Mart has, you will come across some less than elite store managers. Contrary to the poster above me it requires more than a brain. You will have to be able to understand financial reports, business strategies, customer service, and be able to manage a large number of employees. Any retail management, leadership, ethics, business etc. classes you take will help you advance quicker. I am assuming Wal-Mart has some sort of education reimbursement program too if you wanted to work there directly out of high school. They have one of the most impressive business plans out there and there is much you can take away to another position further down the road. Store manager of Wal Mart is certainly a great goal to have that is achievable with a somewhat lucrative income.

Several. First you need to major in business so that you have a firm understanding of how the corporation will work. Then if your really ambitious and want to shine on the walmart application go for your phd. It will really be worth it in the long run.

Why on earth would you WANT that. I thought that was a job that someone just settled with, kind of like the job I have now. Do you have kids or something? If not find something better, that isn't in a store, because people aren't spending money as much as they did and stores are closing like crazy.
