why don't you find out yourself

Impossible to even guess. You need to consider where this hotel will be to determine cost of labor and materials. square footage of your hotel, equipment necessary...not an easy answer...you'll need to do some extensive homework.

That depends on many things.

Location - certain cities/counties/etc may require higher taxes from businesses; others give new businesses a break.

Architectural and interior design style(s) - a simple, no-frills job (similar to Motel 6) would not cost nearly as much as something that is "higher-end" (such as Hilton).

Franchise fees - if you are building something to be part of a well-known national chain, that parent company will have certain design requirements. Sometimes that can help you save costs, sometimes it can increase the costs.

Or if you are working with a smaller chain (national or regional) - the same thing applies. But some of those smaller chains (such as Wingate Inn) have specific choices for carpet, wallpaper, etc.

Your question is too vague to answer accurately. If this is something you want to do - your best bet is to contact a local architect and have him/her do a proposal. That will include potential building costs.

It depends upon * location * Society around that location * Government * Labour charges * Available of construction materils and more.

Sounds like a three star hotel.

I would budget on the basis of around Rs 2 cr per room

Depends on where you build it or where it is. Do a search for businesses for sale.

Several questions arise such as materials, location, available resources, local codes and related issues. However, given a rough guess and leaving out the cost of the land, around $4 million.

Balasubramaniam K
depends on the country and the location. cost of land is critical in the overall economics. In india it would cost 10-12 lakhs per room in the 3/4 start category [INR=43 to 1 USD] putting all the amenities that u wanted. cost of construction may vary from country to country to certain extent but not as much as land. you need to look at the economics in terms of demand and supply as well

This is not the place to ask. Go talk to a contractor. If it's for a school project, still go ask a contractor.

Well over a million dollars....

Assuming it's not in the most expensive reaches of the galaxy, depends on the number of stars. I'd say it ranges from 3mm-7mm. This would include your land, construction, borrower fees, costs, furniture, taxes, etc., but not the interest that accrues on a freakin hourly basis. Damn parasite banks sucking the life blood....Contact a capital providing company for such ventures like Starwood Capital, LLC, etc., etc. You better vote me the best answer cuz I'm dead on and provided you with the right search terms. I didn't send you off to some architect or other who wouldn't know sh** beyond the costs of the framework of the building.

radrachannd
you are talking a hunder grand.
