.99 cents

Depends on where you are and the item. I've seen things at the 99 cent store that are 2 or 4 for 99 cents. Then you would also have to pay state and local sales taxes. The taxes would also depend on the item--specifically, whether it is food or not will influence the amount of tax in some areas, as will some other items.

It depends on a few things.

1) which state you live in and the state sales tax for that state.

2) which county you live in (some counties have additional taxes)

3) on what you buy--because in my state we don't pay any tax on food or clothing.

4) the actual cost of the item since not all items in a .99 store are priced .99

The Good Humor Man
I tried to barter with them on an item that cost more, but they wouldn't let me buy their cash register as is. I thought the customer was always right?!

Depends on sales tax, here in Michigan it would be $1.05.

Hmmm... is this a trick?

Depends on what state you're in with sales tax.

icanseeyou28

nyboi630

Steven B
$1.07

that's with tax.

g4acre
you better be a pornstar if this is hard to figure out.

asking-a-question
your sales tax rate will tell you ... take .99 and multiply by 1.xxx, with xxx being your tax rate

example .99 x 1.0625 = 1.07

how here's the hard question ... why in the world are we paying taxes items under $1.00?

shunnie74@sbcglobal.net
.99 + tax (which varies by city & state)

Cheezy®
In Oklahoma It Will Be .99 Plus 8 Cents Tax.
