different hotels have different criteria for their prospective managers. to see what people are asking for, try doing a job search and look at what they sort of qualification/experience they want the applicant to have.
if you definitely want to be a hotel manager then taking something more specialised (like hotel or hospitality management) will probably give you the edge. however, if you're still undecided then business management is a good route to take because it can be used in a variety of fields.
