1. WEAK, we are sales&marketing dept, while because of his weakness, we need ask mfg team to approve our business plan and report to mfg team the sales programs so can align with the mfg plan!! deep reason is because he is an Asian, and company is US based, mfg team is US citizens who are persons that my boss is afraid to death!
2. Micromanagement, he is always saying, i'm not a micromanagement boss, while you should cc me all your emails...
3. Take credit of your work, he is very sensitive if i send mail or even copy any higher management on the work. In several cases, he is quite mad of that. The result is i am blocked to the higher management, who is not realize what i am doing!!
4. This is the worst, i never get promotion for last 3 yrs, even my contribution is outstanding, facts is my counter-parts in other depts, mfg, lab, supply chain, on the same big project lead by me get promoted! Not 1 or 2 persons, i am talking about tens of persons get recognized because of the SAME project!
So, question is , how can i get rid of the situation if i still want the job under current crisis? |

First of all one should know that he is answerable to a boss in the first case,secondly he/she should have very excellent communication skill and a working (undeterred )skill to full fill a a target oriented buisness.Then only comes their future promotion and related personnel benefits,so try the above and in future you may not have any problem with any type of bosses. |

1. In every company, sales & marketing department has to submit business plan to manufacturing team because manfacturing group has to align all resources to manufacture required products on time.
2. You CC your emails for information to all.
3. May be your boss does not want to pass on sensitive information to higher management because your boss is responsible and it does not give enough room for putting blame on others which happens everywhere.
4.You should have brought this into the notice of higher management.
If you still want your job under current crisis, you can wait till your boss is replaced and if you are fortunate, your new boss will be good or be ready to face the worst than this. Or try to get the same job in other compannies. |
