Suit!! Do yourself a favor don't follow what everyone else is doing. If you are in a major corp enviorment where a suit everyday. If you can't aford suits at least get a few sport coats and where nice dress pants and ties with it. You need to dress for positions that you want not for positions that you have.

i would wear a nice suit and blouse, hose and heels. now something i always do whenever i have to confom my dress to others - add a little bit of personal style with a nice pin, scarf tied to my bag, or earrings that are slightly less conventional.
it is always nice to wear pretty undies - noone knows but you!
