A Man Named Mildrick. | I'M I THE ONLY ONE SCARED OF THE RECESSION? |
I went to visit a friend the other who i hadn't seen in sometime, and instantly the moment i enter into his house, I get bombarded by him and a few other friends that the world is coming to a dyer crisis, and we are facing chaos.
"Everything's F*****!!" He more or less said as I enter the living room.
"People are losing they're jobs soon I might have to sell my house!" He ranted on, now I pay attention to the news and have a clear insight as to what is going on in the world don't get me wrong, however I haven't really read much into this thing we call the 'credit crunch' now being slightly more ignorant, all what he was saying i was soaking in and believing.
"We are all gonna lose our jobs" he said depressingly, he'd clearly been following this thing on CNN all day, I'm just hoping he has got his facts muddled up. I'm seriously concerned of what this recession may do in the long term run.
Does anyone know whether it will end soon?
He told me it's as big as the depression, way back when.

~~People are losing their jobs at alarming rates. When it affects you or people close to you it feels very hopeless. Especially as it is extremely difficult to find new work.
Obama has a plan which will be ready day one to implement the start of the economy rebuilding. Instead of so much money being poured out on wasteful spending, it will be directed at stimulating the economy with new jobs in all sectors. So, yes people are panicking, and things are bleak. We will have hard times ahead as they as been in the making for the past 8 years. We have to all have faith our new President will get us on the right path towards prosperity quickly.
It is quite comforting to know we have the best minds putting together goals to turn this disaster around as quickly as it can be done. So even though it is a depressing and harsh time in our country, we know it can't worsen, because in January we will inaugurate President Obama. So help is on the way. This has kept my sanity. I have complete faith the severe bleeding people are experiencing, will soon just need a band aid. Then eventually that will come off and it will heal.~~ |

Sorry. Everyone says we haven't bottomed out yet. Our president has stopped doing anything and we are just waiting for Obama to start.
My income is fixed. No matter what I get the same amount every month. So, I just sit back and watch it all go to hell. |

The great depression, both money and stocks were worthless, the food coupons were valuable. Second, recession does force you to reevaluate your current life style. If everyone loses their job, we can face another great depression, but hopefully, we will be able to avoid it. For my family and I we have are watching what we do with our money, but we are not panicking! We bought a bigger house and moved in March of 2007, right as the house crises started, we have double mortgage payments, but we are still a family. |
