Depending on the classification of partenership you're in, you should be able to to sell of your portion to your partner or have another person buy your share out, given that your current partner agrees to this. You could also terminate the partnership all together by you and your partner just selling off the business all together.

Talk to your business partner first, see if he or she wants to buy out your half, if not, sell your half to someone else; either to someone you know or you could even advertise it on bulletin boards or in your local newspaper.

I think you first have to discuss with your business partner about buying you out. Next you will have to have the business professionally valued so that you both know what the market value is. If your partner can't or won't buy you out, then you will have to find a buyer to take over your part of the partnership.

You may need a lawyer; your partner has to buy your share of the value in the business, depending on the value of the business and your share in the business, also have to take a look in your original partnership contract for any clauses for sell or ending, dissolving the partnership...Good Luck.
