I got a laptop from Apple almost 3 years ago and got a brand spanking new ipod for xmas. However, it doesn't work with my laptop and Apple have told me that I need to spend a further £85 upgrading my system or buy a different ipod. I think they're all greedy scum who want to fleece the public of as much money as possible. I live in the UK so where do I write to in order to complain? |

People will tell you that this is NORMAL. That's because the wasteful, grasping corporations have MADE it normal, and we, the public, are too thick, too lethargic or too weak to complain! Go you! Make your stand!
Find their CORPORATE website (not the one where they try to sell you stuff) and find the Head Office address. DON'T Email - someone will just delete it somewhere on its way. Send a letter; it will make you sound much more angry and serious about your complaint.
You might want to threaten them with BBC's Watchdog while you're at it.

My HP is a year old and it's outdated.
Time for you and I to buy new laptops. If you spend the money to upgrade for the Ipod you'll still have an outdated computer that stuff that comes out next month, it will not work with. The Electronics Show in Las Vegas, on right now, proves how quickly everything changes.
