Yes I shop at Wal-Mart.
I usually buy non clothing items such as groceries, household supplies, TP, Shampoo, ect there. IF I must, or if I find something I just can't live without I will buy the clothing, but I try to avoid it.
I like it for some things. Other things I don't. Depends on what I am buying. |

I do shop at wal mart but only when i have to.I think there prices are higher than need be. Some of there products are good quality. I buy both items, clothes and groceries, but not much because it is cheaper to go to the grocery store. I like wal mart for the convenience of getting it now versus ordering online. |

1. Yes, at the Wal-Mart Supercenter to be specific.
2. For the most part, yes. Groceries are exactly the same, though their produce (at least at the one I go to) is a little less fresh than I'd like. Their sizing with their clothes is a little off (meaning an XL shirt from one of their brands fits more like a L from some of the better brands).
3. Groceries every week. Clothes only on occasion.
4. Yes.
I noticed a previous poster remarked that Wal-Mart was more expensive than other grocery stores and, in my area (I live in Alabama), this is false. For example, at Wal-Mart a box of Gorton's Lemon Pepper Grilled Fish is $2.98.. whereas at the grocery stores it is $3.48. In that one instance, I save fifty cents by buying it through Wal-Mart.
I do like "Mom and Pop" type businesses and regular grocery stores, but I just can't afford to shop at them regularly. One grocery bill at Wal-Mart may be $160 while the exact same items purchased at one of the local grocery stores here would be at *least* $190-210, even factoring special advertised "deals." I try hard to save money and, even at the risk of running local businesses out of business, I can't ignore a savings of at least $30 per week!
Hope this helps! :) |
