Does your boss just have a goofy sense of humor? And old boss of mine gave me a copy of "Office Space" when I left. I guess in other circumstances, one could have been offended, but in my office this had been a gift to the VP for boss's day several years back as a gag.
In any case, why worry about revenge now? You are gone and don't have to work for him anymore, so why waste another second thinking about him. Regift the clock to your new office secret santa or donate it somewhere and move on. |

there's a reason for his gift... do read up on ettiquete with bosses online, key it up in google.com bosses are hard and well that's the way it goes.
always leave with a good impression with the boss. (and the employees too) but the boss if they let you go cynically well it's gone, let it pass.. if they cry then you've done real good. that's the revenge.. but you didn't leave on good terms obviously.
just let it go. move along, don't try to reconnect, bad idea especially if you're going to look for work elsewhere part time or full time. and especially if you leave with any form of pay coming to you.
