The Evolution of T. | I Just Read Forbes 400 Richest People....Aren't there Rich People Who Prefer To Remain Anonymous? |
How do periodicals get such information...outing people like that?
Doesn't that make them even more targeted for weirdos?
Shouldn;t they try to be less conspicuous? |
|

Alice in Wonderbra
|
Sure there are. One of them goes around with the alias "Alice in Wonderland". To shadow her rich profile, she became P&Ser!! Who would suspect she is No.5 on this List?? N o o n e! I trust you this info because I happen to know this Alice and I trust this info will not go further Yahoo.
She can't be targeted because no one knows her real name, not even her cat's name... :(( |

I'm sure there are people who prefer to remain anonymous, but at the same time, I'm sure there are also people who just love to draw attention to themselves. Joan Rivers comes to my mind, I never really liked her. |

I think some of the people would prefer to remain anonymous but some like the attention they get from being rich. Take Bill Gates for instance, he gets on TV just to keep saying "you're fired" who cares what he thinks. If they really want to help the less fortunate they would stop buying so many million dollar homes. After all, you can only live in one home at a time. Bill is taking up a job that someone else could use. Why don't they donate some of their millions to the homeless, make places for them to live and eat. Some of them served our country and now have no home to come back to, what a shame. I deplore rich people, they only think of themselves. They go on game shows to win money for their "charities" why not just give them donations, they can afford it. |

the super rich are either "old money" or over achievers that see the list as a status symbol. ppl this rich have security as a rule. periodicals get the goods straight from the subjects themselves or research the info through the freedom of information act (all legal). once you are in the public eye and someone in the press thinks you are news you will be out there. anyone who wants to be under the radar plays boring or what is acceptable for normal and is no longer news. |

I would rather remain anonymous but i suppose those people have a profile like what have they done to make them famous? Does it say?
If I were rich, i'd pay off all my bills and my debt (debt is less than 10,000) then i'd start donating.
I'd donate to the Phoneix Mercury Fund (AIDS, RIP Freddie Mercury)
I'd donate to a cancer fund
and others
I'd also send my money to help the starving children here in the US.
*sigh* i can dream can't i? |

Did you read the methodology section of the article? That's how they get the information.
Many of these people work very hard to remain private but if you're from a wealthy family, or a big stock holder in a public company, there's a certain amount of information that's GOT to be made public (e.g. SEC filings). |
