nancy m | I bought a pair of reebok shoes and they fell apart, they are less than a month old, can someone help? |
the store that i bought them at will not exchange these shoes, all i want is another pair of shoes, the person who looked at the shoes said that it looked like i had run something across the shoes, i know this is not true because on both sides of the shoes at the top of them on both corners the material came apart at the same place, i think the material they used in these shoes wasn't anygood. i have always bought reebok or nike shoes for me and my family because they are good shoes but i will not be buying reebok shoes anymore if they are not going to stand behind there product. can anyone tell me who to contact about these rotten shoes? |

definitely contact reebok directly, there is a better chance of them standing by their shoe then there is of the store accepting the shoe for an exchange, especially if the refund period has past but that usually only is for shoes that are unworn anyways. The store is just going to send them back to reebok or throw them out so they are not going to do much to help you. If you have the receipt still, keep it and if Reebok tells you to send the shoes to them, send the receipt with the shoes but make a copy for yourself. The 2 links should help you in contacting the company. |

I would contact Reebok. Go to their website to get a customer service number. I bet they will take care of it. |

This is directly from the Reebok website:

I had a pair of reebok shoes that just didnt last and I took good care of them. Reebok shoes are like thrift store clothes, you only get them until something better. I don't wear Reebok only Nike, Baby Phat, K Swiss, Phat Farm, etc. They last longer and are maybe around the same price as Reebok. |

well...for your info, companies like nike, reebok, adidas have factories in most of the third world countries.... they manufactured sports shoes at a fraction of the retail cost...by paying so little to the manufacturing cost, it will not be surprise to see most of those shoes falling apart easily...in fact i too took my reebok to glue the bottom soles back and have them stitched to prevent them from falling apart again.... |

go to the reebok website and find out if there is an e-mail address you can send then an e-mail,( but it migth take a while for a ressponce) thy might also have a phone # you can call, or maybe even a mailing address. Just make sure you have your orginal reciept for the transaction. you may need to send in a copy of the reciept to the company along with your shoes in order to get a new pair |

Ask to speak to the store manager..if no luck, if you used a credit card, all card companies will support you in getting you a refund. I don't usually use credit cards, but have started recently when I bought a defective item and couldn't take it back. |

Demand a refund. The customer is always right. If you have your receipt you shouldn't have any problem...but, if you have no receipt, you are stuck with a bum pair of catheads. |
