I did not receive any responses to this question, so I'll try again...?
I will start out by saying I am not stupid, but it has been awhile since I have been in Math. And it is true what they say: if you don't use it, you lose it. My question is simple, but I am rusty...help!

If I financed $898.22 for 26 months at 18% APR, what is the total I will be paying back. No rude comments please, only mature guests...thanks!

The formula you're looking for is I=PRT. Intrerest x Rate x Time. =)

I would guess that the $898.22 includes principal and interest payments on the loan, so you would just multiply 898.22 by 26. $898.22*26 = $23,353.72. If you have more details on the loan, you can go to loancalc.com for whatever calculations you want. You didn't give any details like amount financed, down payment if this is an auto loan. 18% is a high interest rate. It's similar to the interest rate on a credit card. You should explore other means of financing.

You'll be repaying 1091.48 in total.

193.26 will be interest, the rest will be your principal.

Since I don't feel like figuring it out, here's how you can do it:

Start with the loan, add the interest, subtract your payment, end up with a new balance. Repeat for the balance, adding the interest again and subtracting your payment again, and so on and so on.

There are programs that will amortize the data for you, but I don't know of any personally.

Considering that it is a continual interest, and 898.22 is how much you borrowed, you will pay a total of 4023.67.

Its OK--I had to pay $700 to relearn this!
This is assuming that your note is a fixed rate
Interest = Principal * Rate * Time

I = 898.22 * .18 * 2.167 (time expressed in years)
I = 350.30

approximate guess is $1248.53 on your repayment.

I don't know exactly but i remember that :

898.22 * 24 * 18% = 3880.3
