PIMP I | I didn't get my package from USPS or a notification, what do I do? |
I ordered Gears of War 2, and I got a tracking number with my order. I put in the tracking number on the USPS website and it said they attempted to deliver my package and they left a notification.
The problem is I never received a notification of any sort and they didn't have my address on it, all it said was Seattle WA 98188, and I live in Seatac. So I need to know what to do now. Any help is appreciated. |

I work for a company that uses USPS and we see this in the tracking all the time. Your best bet would be to go to the local post office with the tracking number so they can see which post office its at.
If they say they don't have the package (which they might), call the company you ordered it from to have them do a trace. At my company, we would send you another order at no charge if it has been the maximum of shipping days.

Sometimes the USPS carrier will drop off the notification with anyone that is at the delivery location or just leave it where it can get blown away or lost. But to solve your problem to get your software, you can go to their website and give them an alternate delivery location that will have someone there during the day, that way someone can sign for it when they show up again. Otherwise you can go to your assigned post office, if you don't know which one it is you can figure it out on the USPS website, and go to the package pick-up area show a picture id and get your package.
