actually i read everyone elses answers first, they do call people back ..filling it out online is the same as doing it at the store, if you are open in your availability and the jobs you want usually you get a call back faster those things update to each store you chose within 48 hours they do background checks at the same time, so if you have something in your background or you arent what they are looking for its possible you wont get called back. i worked for walmart for 7 and a half years up till oct first of this year...they do tend to treat you as though you dont matter as a person the company today isnt the one i started working for seven years ago. good luck to you

Don't work at Walmart, it's shitty pay, no benefits, and they never call you back when you fill out applications online or in the store at the application section! I filled one out several times because they stay active for like eight months. Look for a job somewhere else, you'll have better luck. Word of advice! Go somewhere where you do not have to fill out an application online or on a machine because thousands of people fill those out. Do you actually think that they take the time to call all of those people and review their applications? No, you'll never get an interview. You almost have to know someone who works at Walmart to get a job there :-) Good luck!

About1-2 weeks. I guess it just depends on how busy they are, or if they need the help at that particular walmart.

Honestly it would just be better for you to go apply in the store(better if you know someone who works there as well) I submitted an application online to Sam's club, one of Walmarts branches in Hawaii, and they've never got back to me and it's been...about a year lol.
