He's not just playing golf.. he is getting new clients and trying to keep the existing ones. Anyways why should you care he's the one paying your salary.

And whats the matter with that ? How do you think he got to be the pres. of the company. I know my husband worked very hard to become the boss and so what if he wants to play a little golf! As long as the workers are getting their pay checks, there is nothing wrong with it. And like somebody else said, a lot of time it is work related to schmooz with people to get more work !

As some others have noticed, generally, the higher ups these days like to discuss business on the golf course. I've heard of billion dollar deals made over a handshake at a golf course. So, while you may think he's being lazy, he *might* actually being pitching something or trying to close a sale.

He has either hit upon a good formula for success, has very good staff or is on his way down. This is a misconception. Most Presidents play golf to attract customers, not just for recreation.

It's a proven fact that among the more wealthy and in bigger corporations, more business deals are made on the golf course than in business offices
