My experience with CVS pharmacy has often been unpleasant. Rude employees who scowl a lot and act like it's a pain when you ask them for help. Walgreen's employees are more eager to help ...
I personally do not feel sorry for these people who have taken advantage of us. They need competition. We need other forms of energy to compete with them. Solar, nuclear, natural gas. Maybe we are ...
I recently applied for a position in the company I work for. Why did I not get offered the position?
I have worked for a corporation as a technician for about 9 months. Recently, the corporation(charter communications) did a career fair for inhouse sales. I trained for 2 1/2 months for my technician position. I managed to score good in my year end review. We are judged mainly on repeat calls; a call that you go to and to customer scheduled another appointment within 1 week. The company standard is 10% repeat call. I was around 5%. I also never have done any cable technical job before. In the first quarter of this year, I produced the second most jobs completed, and the third lowest repeat calls from around 40 technicians. I arrived at the career fair, and was immediately turned down for not having any sales experience. I managed to get the lady to rethink and she called in for her supervisor. The supervisor told me to come in another time, and talked her into allowing me to interview.I did really good in the interview and could tell I was liked. I am highly motivated.no job
Unless it was an in house career fair (one your company was holding for current employees only), it was probably a really bad idea for you to go to your own employer's booth. They'll think you're out looking for a job with a different company!
The best thing to do is schedule a meeting with the supervisor and ask her, professionally, why you were not selected and what you could do to improve your chances next time. Good luck!

Your current job with the company has nothing to do with being a salesperson. Sales is a make or break business you could really deliver a company a blow in the pocketbook if you aren't qualified. You say you have a good work record and are well liked....that's a good start. Also you have been with the company only 9 months. My advice is to keep your head up and continue to do a good job and be liked even better. People will notice.

.Maybe you did not have enough on the job training. Sales is very important in any job. Maybe there was someone more qualified. Maybe relatives got the job. Sometimes it's not what you know .....it's who you know. Try taking a small business relations course, in management, at your local college.
