Management is an art. Its a game. There needs lot of qualifications
not just awarded by Universities. You must have that intelligence to
deal with people. If you can handle people vary well without hurting
them and motivate then then you can win people and get your work done.
You must know how to use available resources. You must have long site and goals to be achieved for your organisation. |

its a journey buddy; you need to take baby steps. try to show that difference in your work place, that you are more than, worth the money company spends on you; through your actions make your superiors take note of you and show that value add, you bring to you and to the company. naturally success will be yours and you can scale up. designations hardly matter; sincerely evaluate yourself and bring more value through your contribution, then you will get what you want.
good luck! |

First you need to acquire a degree or a professional qualification. Then you need to get employed to acquire experience. Then you must work hard with great enthusiasm to get promoted to be a successful manager. |

Well, atfirst one has to learn the process of the field of work, that he/she would like to become a successful manager in! Apart from this it also depends whether one is worth what is desired by him/her? I mean the educational qualification stands there or not? Now, put loads of effort, one may get success. |

You are vague about your question, e.g. corporate, small business, or other. If it is corporate you will no doubt need a degree, for small business probably not, but it would probalby help. In any management position you will have to deal with people, your biggest challenge, basically for the simple reason all people seem to think differently. Putting your people all on the same page and goals you would like to see them achieve is no easy task, if you are managing more than 25 people. Think of it like coaching, you must be able to plan, motivate, execute and at times even take the lead to get from point "A" to point "B". |
