I clicked on Free Credit Report.com thinking I was going to get my annual free credit report..............I was charged $12.95 . Called to complain and was told to forget it....they already had my money. While they do note this membership charge, it is well hidden. If you note their TV ad....they also mention it at reduced volume at end of message. To me this is deceptive advertising....cheating. As a stockholder of Yahoo and a daily user, I think you should take some action to prevent others from being conned by this outfit. |

On the front page of freecreditreport.com it clearly says you'll be billed $12.95 after 30 days. You enrolled yourself in a credit monitoring service. You did you your report for free, but you're being charged for the monitoring service.

How is it yahoo's fault that you didn't read the fine print..and you obviously gave that company your credit card number, so that's something that maybe you should take up with freecreditreport.com, and not blame someone else because you didn't pay attention to what you were doing. |

You wouldn't file a complaint with YAHOO you need to file a complaint with the company that charged you. Did you not read the terms of the conditions? I know I did....and it did explicity tell me that I would be charged.... |
