I have been contacted numerous times by rep for the company for employment. I was just wondering if they are worth working for. What is your experience?...
I was hired April of 2007 and fired Dec of 2007. My last paycheck stub shows a little over $60 was taken out of my checks for Aflac but Aflac says (I have it in writing) that they did not receive the money. I would like it returned. Also, when I was fired I understand company policy was not followed as: 1. I had never been in trouble before. 2. There were no females in the office when they fired me. Then they lied about me as when I tried to get my job back, the two men in the office gave a different story than mine. Since I told the truth I dont know what their story even is.
Pssst. You worked for Wal-mart .... get over it and go on with your life. You will never collect one dime from them and you would be better served to move on and find a new job with better pay that you like.

Heh, working in retail can suck...and now since its april of 2008, I'm guessing you either need that 60 bucks pretty badly or are just stuck on the fact that they took it out of your check and aflac is claiming they didn't get it.
You most likely will not get your money back, and its really not worth filing a lawsuit over 60 bucks...I'd say just drop it all, and don't shop there?
If they already fired you once, and you don't know the reasons why...the management is probably pretty horrible and I deffinently would not go back to somewhere I wasn't wanted...it makes your job more irritable and gives the management a reason to try and get you to quit on your own...so they'll push until you break.

Go to the personnel manager, talk to them. Mention a lawsuit, mention maybe talking to the paper....Walmart hates that! They will fix your check rather than take any bad publicity.

Contact your local labor board, just google them they should be easy to find.

Honey dont worry about the 60$ just sue them.
Contact the store you worked at if that doesnt work contact the dept of labor in your town. And yes you can win!

Get over it. Go get a job at some other crappy retail store. Walmart could buy you and your pathetic life. You'll never win that battle.
