The best thing to do after a job interview is to send a thank you card thanking the interviewer for the opportunity to be interviewed. Did they tell you anything at the end of the interview about whterther they would be calling you or when they would make their decision?(thats another question you may ask during an interview is when they will make a decision). From my expereince if they dont hire you right away most likely you wont get the posistion. Some companies will also send you a letter thanking you for the interview and let you know they have choosen someone else. That being said you may call and ask someone if the position been filled yet. IF not send out that thank you card right away and let them know you are still highly interested.

Definitely follow up via email or snail mail. Thank them. Mention that it was great to meet with them and that you're very excited about the potential opportunity. If you're a finalist, they'll definitely respond. If not, then, move on to the next thing. But follow up usually indicates that you are serious and this is a good thing.

Call them. The best thing to do is write them a letter the day of the interview outlining your qualifications compared to the job and reinforce you desire to work there. But that is for the future. It is not a bad idea to call them now and show your interest. If they have not made a decision, then use the opportunity to say that you want the job and why. Not too pushy but enthusiastic. Ask if they have any additional questions of you.

Call Them And Tell Them You Had An Interview Last Week And You Would Like To Follow Up To See If The Position Has Been Taken. Calling Them Shows Your Interested In The Job.

Yes follow up but do not simply ask did i get it.
Just call and thank them for taking the time to meet you. Dont redress any interview questions though. That is desperate and kinda cheesy. you don't get a second shot a first impression

but you can a good second impression.

you can check the company out on the internet. Then offer any insight that you have gained and link it to any of your particular skills if you think that would benefit you.

for example if you exclude a company from your resume and then you find out that this company uses technology similar to the experience you have then say that.

Or just say it looks like a very interesting place to work

Good Luck

You should definitely be more proactive and contact him. In fact, you should've contacted them about 2 days after the interview to thank them for giving you a chance to interview and that you look very much forward to hearing from them,. YOu should call back and inquire on the status of your interview. This shows them that you are very proactive and you're very interested in the job. Good luck.
