No you're not the only one, it is expensive! You can buy exactly the same stuff much cheaper (and more often better quality) elsewhere on the high street |

Nope. People acting like animals grabbing at everything and anything and the whole 50% crap. 50%?! Everything was 10% and 20%.
EDIT: I'd never go into Woolies (except for getting into the town centre by walking through it) but it wasn't 50% off. It was all one big lie and anyway, there was nothing worth buying. |

I picked up a real bargain, a mobile phone for a tenth of its RRP! But only because the lass at the till thought you worked out ten percent reductions by moving the decimal point one place! So instead of ten percent off, I paid ten percent!
maybe she wasn't so thick, maybe she was pissed off at losing her job she didn't care about charging the right price! |

i am sorry but you must be some sort of pikey or cheapscate if you think it is expensive in there. 50% off sales is well cheap, or do you prefer to shop in poundland........
sorry but you really are the only one who thinks that it is still expensive...
2 people agree with me, what does that tell you........ |

I wouldn't say they are exspensive at all,...but yes the 50% price of items that they advertise is misleading :(

I got an Electrical Staple/Nail Gun for my Craft Work i like doing at home(Upholstering etc etc) it was a bargain! ;0
Normally it costs.£14.99,..i paid £3.99 for it! ;)
It was in a lovely Case and and came with a manual plus the Staples./Nails!

woolworth was a big con the only stuff 50% off was tatty crap you could get at any car-boot sale after christmas
they went wrong years ago when they tried to modernise
Years ago they used to be like Wilkinson's get your paint glue shoe repair stuff air-fix kits and sweets
they went all cds music video where there was already strong competition
and forgot where they came from, another case of top management bamboozled by technology as they see quick money
well sorry to tell you chaps you've been had and sold yourself down the pan the public are clever nowadays and wont be fooled by your misleading offers
so sad for the staff to have to suffer because of management morons |

I feel sorry for the hundreds who are losing their jobs.
People who are complaning about the sales that it's not 50%, the advert says:
UP TO 50% OFF
Some people are very stupid. |
